Is there any way to help a loved one (a girlfriend) avoid being overly jealous? I was faithful and never wanted another girl, but she always thought I did just because I sometimes looked at other girls. I might be able to get her back, but I'm not sure I can handle her jealousy. Everything else in our relationship was wonderful in my opinion. By the way, my friend who is a psychologist told me to forget her and move on with my life. I am just finding it hard to do because she was so amazing in every other area. I just wish she was not so jealous and controlling.

I even have struggled with jealousy too, yet no longer when I felt enjoyed via somebody. it extremely is generally considering you're in touch with a guy who you don't be attentive to you could have confidence. The loopy ingredient is, those women may be jealous of you! in case you date men who flirt with different women, locate men who've better character and are dedicated. If it enables you, do all you could to sense sturdy with reference to the form you look. Get in shape and alter your hair and makeup. an outstanding variety of elegance is artwork! yet keep in mind, you're captivating once you're your self. Get unfastened from jealousy and you will sense like a clean individual! God bless.

Jealousy almost always stems from insecurity...you can't make someone have self esteem...they need to foster it by themselves...you can't have another person make you feel good about yourself. It has to come from within.

Perhaps if you somehow got her to recognize her own misgivings about looking for validation from other people you would be able to have a healthy relationship with her.

Does she watch Dr. Phil? i know some people hate him, but his book self matters is very interesting and could give you some insight into yourself...perhaps she could read it?

good luck

There are other amazing people Roger. And when you find one, you'd better keep your eyes on her. She may have realized that you weren't cheating on her. But she would have to wonder if she doesn't measure up to where ever your eyes strayed. Think of how you would feel being with a girl always looking at other men.

She is insecure. First, ask yourself if you have done anything to make her jealous. If not, do react or feed into her jealousy tirades. Sounds to me like she needs to get some hobbies and some friends.

Good Luck

It's something she has to deal with, and it probably stems from insecurity on her part. Only you can decide if she's worth it.

Maybe you could ask her to get some counseling so that things would work out for you. If she says no, then you should probably bail.

give her confidence in every thing you do together and she won't feel like you are going to just dump her for another.. try looking into her eyes when you know there is a good looking girl passing bye..show her she is your focus not anyone else.
