So, you're ok with lying to the woman you supposedly love enough to give a ring to? She'll find out. Go ahead and break up with her now because it's obvious you're not mature enough to be in a relationship.

Oh, bravo! Start your engagement off with a lie. That doesn't paint a very pretty picture of what your relationship will be like.
If you want to buy a motorcycle and cruise with your buddies, you don't really want to get married.
This isn't about cubic zirconium vs diamond. The thing about CZ engagement rings is that CZ is a fake. And everybody knows it. Women are far happier with a tiny diamond chip, if that's what you can afford, because it is genuine. CZ is great for flashy party jewelry, but it isn't for life, and that's what the diamond says.
This is about whether you're ready to get married more than you want to stay single and at this point, it looks like you aren't really committed to the idea of marriage because you're tossing it off pretty lightly when you say if we break or up she loses it, there is no loss.

If you can't purchase the real thing, don't buy the fake. She will figure it out eventually or someone will tell her the ring is Cubic Zirconium.
You need to set your priorities straight. You are already off on a negative tone ..."if we break up, or she loses it, there is no loss." Sounds to me that you are not sure if this is the right girl for you, and the idea of purchasing another motorcycle is more important to you than investing in an engagement right of value.

Do the girl a favor. Skip the ring, buy the motorcycle and leave town.
And for the "it's the thought that counts" crowd. Yes, it is the thought that counts THAT'S WHY YOU BUY A DIAMOND! It's pure, it's rare, it lasts forever, get it? Cheese and rice! I never knew there were so many cheap *** losers out there! Why even bother with a CZ ring. Just put a bread tie on her finger and call it good! Damn! guys! If you aren't willing to put the effort in on the engagement ring, you certainly aren't worth the effort of making a marriage work.

the ring is not your problem...your other agendas are...if your not ready for marriage...if your not ready for a life change...if your not ready to communicate the idea of a fake diamond...this communicated might suprise you...she may be all for it! If your not ready for the trust and commitment ahead of you...perhaps you ought to rethink your motives. Are you wanting to get married really? If you can not commit and you are not ready... Let your girl know that you are not ready ///if your not. If you are ready then Buddy...cruising with your buddies are not a priority...that will just be something you and your new wife will have to work into your relationship somehow if you
truly are committed and understand what marriage is Buddy! Being Married is a JOB! It is a JOB that GOD has given the betrothed...The Bible tells man three times to Love his wife...now why is that you suppose...perhaps it is because men have a problem with this in general. Are you up for the JOB Buddy?

Seriously? If you're not will to give the girl a real diamond, why bother getting engaged? You're going to lie to her right out of the gate.
At any rate, there's few visual differences that are immediately visible with the naked eye, but if she got it appraised on her own, the jig would be up.
Wikipedia has a list of the differences between CZ and diamonds.

Obviously if youre going to give her a fake ring, and lie to her about it then you dont really want to be married to her anyway, so why dont you just spare the girl hardship and go buy that new motorcycle.

I despise cubic zirconium. I have a small gem collection, which includes beryl (raw emerald) as well as cut corundum rubies & sapphires, amethysts (quartz), citrines (also quartz), real aquamarines (aluminum beryllium silicate) and natural topaz. No diamonds: I can't afford them in any decent size. For my clear, I use colorless sapphire. I won't buy any of that STINKING cubic zirconium. It's got the taint of FAKE because idiots have been sneaking it on to people as a ringer for diamonds for so long. If you're going to use some kind of substitute, make it sapphire (and tell her it's sapphire). Sapphire has class. CZ does not.

Hey, leave the woman alone. That's a cheap trick to play when it's just because you're being selfish. You certainly are not the 'catch of the year"! Do her a favor and break up with her and get your motor bike! She'll be happy you did later on down the road, you little cheap pr*ick!

Nothing is wrong with a "FAKE DIAMOND" if that's all you can afford. But if you rather have a motorcycle instead of getting your girl the best than your not really ready for marriage.
