i have a regular dell computer and a laptop with a 2wire wireless card and 2wire connection from SBC YAHOO DSL so how do i setup the internet and become wireless?

you need to buy a wireless/Wi-Fi (802.11) router. Plug your DSL connection into that router and you will have Wi-Fi in your house. Then, to configure your PC/Laptop to get that wireless access, go to "network connections," click on wireless connections and you should see your network there. click on "connect" and you are ready to surf.

Be sure to follow the instructions that come with the router. They should be pretty simple.

get a wireless router I use a wrt54g linksys and it works great. I also use a dell latitude laptop with wireless but with this router you also can hook up to 4 desktops with network cables to it. I have had three desktop hardwired to it and tree laptops running wireless off of it with no problems just make sure you set up security on it

You need a wireless router. Those start around 50 bucks. Then it is fairly simple.
