Good afternoon....try www.scrapbookscrapbook.com ...you can dowload for free loads and loads of backgrounds,frames,tags,whatever...and yes they are all free....I downloaded them, then to save space on my comp I put them onto disc so I could use as and when...thats the materials sorted....when you go onto site you should be able to get page layout ideas....buy a scrapbook , some double sided tape, pritt stick, and a few peel offs...save any bits and pieces from around the house that may come in handy,,,any bits of ribbon off cards,,....buttons ..have fun and I hope the information is useful...just remember you dont have to spend pounds and pounds...imagination is the key..good luck

Go to yahoo.com type in scrapbooking, you will get a pleathora of websites offering ideas. Additonally there is a magazine called Creating Keepsakes available at Scrapbooking stores.

go to wal-mart they have a scrapbook that is for begginers.
i have one and it helped me a lot.
