It's 20 cents to send it and 10 cents to receive it unless you have a messaging package

It does not cost anything more than sending one to someone local, as long as you are sending it to their e-mail account. My pay-as-you-go Cingular plan is ridiculous when it comes to billing, but it is still only 5 cents. If it's cellular-to-cellular it is expensive.
