They say they put on what the public wants to see, but it's still boring?

I definitely would like to see the reality shows disappear, and along with those the soap operas can go too. Death to infomercials. More three or four-star movies. No more one-star movies because those are just a waste of air time. I would like to see them bring back Quantum Leap only with a different cast, new time mission, etc. A show where the bad guys win as much as the good guys do. A show that portrays a strong woman super hero (definitely not Wonder Woman because she was too submissive to men and isn't interesting as a character). Having a regular show about the X-Men would be cool. More stand up comedy and less lame sitcoms.

A day in the life of normal people.

Yes, a reality television show but it's a normal poor or middle-class family with absolutely no prize or anything at the end. It's just a view of their lives. It'd be nice to see how we're not alone in how we live. That people all over the world lead as boring a life as we do.

I'm with Dukalink there, except instead of just having public executions, they should be public executions of the idiots you see on infomercials. And I think the producers of these programs should poll the audience to see what form the execution should take. I'd probably vote for death by meatgrinder, so the body could be exported to 3rd World countries and the production company could make a little bit more money. That would be killing three birds with one stone, so to speak. :-D

I can't really think of what different to add. It seems like with 500+ channels that there would be something on that one would want to watch.

However, the one thing that I could recommend is that we have every hour or so that a public service announcement that there is actually something beyond the door of our households that we should go check out. That way, if someone is bored with what's on television, they are reminded of an alternative.

That and infomercials should be restricted to one channel which I can block out. :-)

I'd like to see a show that promotes job giveaways. It would enable those who are having a hard time finding work, and have had a rough time in life, but DO want to work, get the chance to get not only a job, but a job that would give his/her family medical benefits and a fresh start in life...don't think that will ever happen, but it would be nice...and I'm not talking about the old wind bag Trump's Apprentice show, this would be for the blue collar crowd.....

WTH? Your question isn't clever! would I particularly... what? particularly have them obliterated? particularly have them around? i do no longer choose to be a prick and not a minimum of attempt to respond to your question, so i pass to assume you mean the latter. i'd particularly have computers around. television is overvalued, and till you watch balanced television networks, you in all probability is merely no longer taught something functional. computers, on the different hand, may be used for inner maximum entertainment and for gaining know-how (it extremely is obviously massive, and intensely almost actually endless).

I like some of the shows on but I'd like to see less reality shows. They are annoying.
