Why are white kids more likely to get kidnapped?

Why don't whites teach their kids how to fight back? They say 60% of the kids that stopped from being kidnapped resisted.

Because many come from an enviroment where fighting back (violence) is not their first option.Fighting back comes out only after several stages.Sometimes too late.
On the other hand,people from different groups (mostly minorities)where violence is the first response,are surrounded by other people who think the same way.Leading to many getting killed or injured.Not kidnapped.
Each group suffers in their own way.

White kids aren't the only ones that are getting kidnapped. They are just the ones that are getting all of the publicity from the media. No one cares about the little minority kids.
Teaching kids about strangers is very important for kids of all races living in all neighborhoods, even the nice ones.

How do you know this is true? According to just one site (hardly conclusive, I admit), black female children are JUST as likely to be kidnapped but the media does not report as widely (I didnt' see any thing about black MALE children).

My guess would be that the numbers (white and black) are VERY similar, including abduction of adults, esp. females. In fact, the very term "White slaving" makes us think: "Why is there no term such as "black slaving"? is it because enslaving blacks STILL goes on and is much more widespread?

This subject is horrible, tragic and outrageous...and definitely bears more research and attention from the press!

BTW - I agree that kids of ANY race who fight back are probably less likely to be kidnapped. In one instance, a 7-year-old white boy successfully fought off a would-be molester in the bathroom of a Wal-mart, by dodging, ducking and shouting. His mother and other bystanders joined on as the kid broke free and the F***er (molester) was apprehended!

This question not only starts a stereotype it is also asking about one. White children are more likely to be kidnapped simply because or percentages. Check the racial demographics of any white collar neighborhood. Then check it for the very wealthy neighborhoods. Now for comparison check it for the blue collar and poor neighborhoods. What you will see is that as financial standing increases so does the likelyhood of that person being white. It is a sad but true fact of this nation. Thus a white kid is more likely to be snatched because their family is more likely able to pay a large ransom. Also if you ever look at the missing children advertisements in Wal-Mart or elsewhere you will notice a large number of the so called minorities. The difference is that a child being kidnapped from a wealthy family WILL draw a lot of media attention. And since we already established that in the world of the rich, the skin is as white as snow. So remember this old adage as you get upset about that fact. Money talks and bulls**t walks. As one person your voice cannot be heard across the country. As 100 people our voices cannot be heard across the country. As 100,000 people our voices can be heard from coast to coast. As 1,000,000 people our voices will shake the very foundations of the capitol and white house. So if you want to change things speak up and join others who feel the same. If you make yourself heard, others will join to be heard. If enough join the President will go deaf from the volume of the voices demanding to be heard. Complacency is a tool the government uses to control us. One man can make a difference. Gandhi, M.L. King Jr, Hitler (unfortunately), Karl Marx, Stalin, Mao Ze Dong, and Chiang Kai Shek. Some used their voices for good and others for evil, but they were all just one man. Remember that. Hitler was homeless and lived on the streets as a begger. Look what became of him. Use your voice, demand to be heard, and you can change the problems of this nation including the kidnapping of our future by those who wish to exploit them.

Why are they more likely to get kidnapped or why are they less likely to resist? You're asking 2 questions. If it's true that white kids get kidnapped more it's probably because their parents have money for ransom.

i didn;t know white kids were more likely to be kidnapped. and all children should be taught how to fight back and what they can do if they do get taken.

I think kidnapping are close to the same rate. It's because the whites scream loader and get on T.V.

I was taught to fight by my parents and I have never been kidnapped. Stereotyping is a bad thing.
