ui need to know who used to live here and if anybody died in this house

you would go to the register of deeds with your address and you would look in the deeds starting with your purchase of the home and going back according to the name on the deed who sold it to the next person. Example: Look up your name and then the person whom you bought the property from and then look up there deed and so forth. Now you have all the previous owners names you can take that to the library and look up info in the reference section and old news papers and even books. Good luck

Many counties should have the tax files on line or at the tax office. Then you may have to just check the newspaper archives for mention of your address or the names you find who owned the house in the past.

Well you can check through your city records as to who owned your house. As far as knowing if anyone died there you would have to search the persons name and death.

you can check at the city clerks office at your court administration bldg., or go to a title company, title dept. to see all who have owned your house. to find out about the people that owned it previously, once you have there names, go to your library, (or maybe on line), and look up on there microfishe or whatever they have, under each specific name.
