I like Mythbusers and Dirty Jobs, but your right. that's a dumb channel.

I think the Discovery channel overly thinned itself out with all of it's specialty channels. They turned the root channel into Discovery Cops for a while. Then they looked for other things like American Chopper to break it up. I like the Science channel which has shows that used to be on the regular discovery channel.

Actually they have some interesting shows. American Choppers, how the Teutals fight but still get the motoercycles done. Dirty Jobs, some guy goes around the U.S.A. and finds the worst jobs possible. Mythbusters, 2 guys find out if "wives tales" are true or not. And they just came out with a game show called cash cab, some guy driving a cab in New York drives around, picks up people and they answer questions and gets $$$.

I happen to like Discovery Channel very much. I appreciate Discovery channel very much because they show us so much of the world that we cannot discover all on our own.
If you are very old, than I will say "Oh well....there is nothing more for you to discover, but what you want to put on your tombstone".
If you are still very young, then I pity you because it seems like your future will be no farther beyond your boss' rear end. Why? Because you are too much of an idiot to make it all the way on your own.

the discovery Channel isnt boring some of the shows on the network are extremely boring, but to each its own...right, i mean Steven irwin had a show that was broadcasted on that network and it was hilarious, he was so cool, but like i said to each their own.

I guess that's why it is the DISCOVERY Channel. You are supposed to Discover something.
I bet you don't want the LEARNING Channel for the very same reason. :P

It's the best channel to watch to waste time. There's always something on that's not really worth trying to watch, but will entertain you for 15 minutes.

i like some of the shows for my kids but i agree some of the shows are quite boring!
