Some years back, Wynona Rider is caught stealing (which is stupid, in my opinion; why do it, especially if you're rich).

Now, I hear that 50 Cent got busted for driving recklessly. He had A) no license, B) no insurance, C) no proof of registration, and D) an attitude. The cop asked him how he should identify the guy and 50 Cent retorted (paraphrasing) "you know who the BLEEP I am." To me, all rappers look the same and I couldn't tell 50 Cent from another rapper who calls himself "The Game." Why, oh why, do celebrities think they're above the law? And WHY drive without all that vital info such as a license, registration, insurance, etc?

Mel Gibson screwed up, but he owned up to what he did by apologizing to the Jewish community and the officers who pulled him over.

And Paris Hilton recently got a DUI; don't these people know that YOU SHOULD NEVER DRINK AND DRIVE?!

Once these celebs screw up, they should NOT BE ALLOWED TO WORK IN HOLLYWOOD FOR AT LEAST ONE YEAR!

If you guys ever heard of Good Charlotte's "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," (it's emo, I know but this song is actually good) you'll get my point.

My boss, a black woman, told me during the OJ trial that OJ wasn't black. I know she was teasing me some to get a reaction, but she explained that sports figures are treated from the day they began to shine as a first class citizen.
Many stars live lives that we cannot imagine. When people come up to just for a picture or an autograph, hundreds of fan letters a day, offers for free cars and watches .. it goes to your head.

A LOT of people don't have ID, drive while drunk and act like jerks to the cops --- singling out those in the spotlight is just foolish.

Celebrities and certain others just seem to be able to get over. A lot of cops are alcoholics but few get DUIs. I had an inncodent years ago that my customized 1964 Chevy Impala was hit while it was parked, pushed a whole block down the street by a kid driving a truck. The truck was upside down and there were beer cans all over the place and the kid was all kinda drunk. The police came and they called a tow truck and flipped the truck over. Then the cop just let him drive it home. I flipped out and I end up getting arrested and sentenced to 30 days for disorderly conduct. The kids father was a local judge. I guess there is just an unwritten law for the privelidged few.

Excess of money makes people behave vary badly. I'm indeed happy to be among the very poor and love life to it's fullest. Many people get confused and think that the material things are going to make their life happy and when it does not fulfill that for them this is the type of behavior that is transpired. They are totally board with life and have nothing to do because their is nothing to attain or look forward to because everything is common to them. That is a hard fact to deal with-common-they can appreciate nothing! As opposed to being poor, I truly appreciate things when I'm blessed with them. I wouldn't want that type of lifestyle for anything. No thank you!

Well, it's remarks like Paris Hilton's that make people think celebs are higher than they are. "We love the police" and getting off????!?!? Any normal person would get in deeper **** if they said that. Or at least a breathalizer....

Actually, you're wrong. The law should apply equally to ALL citizens. It seems you're just upset that they make more $$$ than you do. By the way, I imagine YOU (and 99% of everyone else) has driven a vehicle after drinking. If you truly have not then I applaud you. However, look at what Mel Gibson did. People, regular citizens, do that SAME THING every single day and no one even makes a big deal of it. It's no different than anyone else.

Because most the time they are..I do not know why, it pisses me off a lot. The average person would not get away with near as much crap as some celebrities do.

Because they can always BUY their way out of it. Also, their fans usually stick by them "whatever they do", right or wrong!

OK. What makes you presume that thats the way THEY think? Its not that they feel that way, that just happens to be the outcome [most of the time] when you're famous thats all.

Nothing does my heart better than to see one of them crash and burn and go to jail for their behavior, just like the rest of us do when we break the law.

Why Michael Jackson isn't in prison is just beyond words...
