i got told that i was fingertip and 50 % and doc felt babys head, but i havent had any painful contractions???

oh man, i felt like that for weeks. it was so frustrating. it just means that it's getting bigger and heavier and is starting to weigh on you more, thanks to gravity. not to worry. you should get checked though, just to make sure you're not dialated. good luck girl!

Means that baby is a little cramped and doing what all good babies do... annoy the hell out of you every chance they get! Just kidding!
If you're feeling kicks in your vagina... than you still have a bit to go. Baby has to turn around and start descending into your pelvis (called lightening). You'll feel pressure when the head is pointing down. At that point... it could be a matter of days to a few weeks.

I am 38 weeks and 4 days and been feeling like that for a few weeks now...nothing to worry about!! And also, just because it feels like hes kicking your vagina doesnt mean that he has not turned yet. My baby has already turned and it still feels like he kicks me down there. Good Luck

I dealt with that for a month on both my babys it is excruciating (sorry if I mispelled ) the baby has pretty much filled out so now you are really feeling him/her It could be soon that you go into labor but then again it could still be 4 - 6 weeks

It means you are in the home stretch! The last few weeks are really uncomfortable. Hang in there and try to get lots of rest!

he has dropped it is normal it is just your body getting ready let your doctor know on your next visit my first child dropped early i had him at 37 weeks
