what would be a great thing for decoration at a halloween party i'm 14 in the8th grade

If those aren't what you're looking for then drape sheets over your furniture, stuff gloves and put them on the back of the sofa and chairs, use soap to write "Help Me" backwards on your mirrors, hang lots of cob web everywhere with the plastic spiders and use purple, green and blue light bulbs for a spooky effect. And keep those scary CD's playing in the background.

They have these plastic pumpkins and skulls that light up for sale at WalMarts and Targets. I got a whole bunch last year. If you have those turned on, you don't need to turn on regular lamps. It makes the room much more creepy, but people can still see well enough in the room. Also get stings of lights in purple and hang those up as well.

I'd go with a haunted juvenile detention center since most of your guests will be under age. This might scare a few of them to not want to miss behave and end up in the real thing. You can dress in a mental ward gown and have the adults (if any, I hope there will be some) dress as the Doctors or guards.

cob webs (fake)
ghosts hanging everywhere - easy to make with white plastic garbage bags - from the trees outside and inside the house
dry ice to create fog if you can get it and your parents take care of it for you, for safety reasons
spooky music - either from special Halloween albums or from scary movies ( Psycho, The Thing)

yellow and black streamers and candy...dont forget to get ppl to wear costumes....get good music too.....scary movies....maybe other ghost or spider props if u want.....and pin the sheet on the ghost....jk
