Today, a New York Times article said that "the Senate Intelligence Committee — controlled by Mr. Cheney’s Republican allies — declared that there had been no basis for Mr. Cheney’s repeated claims that Saddam Hussein had harbored a Qaeda leader and had ties to the group"? I mean, is this admission by influential members of our party giving the Democrats ammunition to claim we weren't honest about why we attacked Iraq? Why would they hang our VP out to dry this way?

The American public is not believing the lies. The senators want to clearly disassociate themselves with the lies that were told to take this country into Iraq.

Why should you be? Did you support it fully? Did you make the decision? If you're not happy write to you senator/representative about it. That's what I do! Also, a lot of people have thought that the "war on terrorism" had nothing to do with Iraq, at the time.. now it does. (because we've pissed them off)
I feel that you shouldn't look at it so much as democrat vs. republican. We're all American, so we need to work together to try and achieve what's best for our country, regardless of 'who is right, and who is wrong.'

The gig is up. You claim to be Republican but every answer you have posted about politics is critical of Republicans. You also have 2 answers that you refer to yourself as a Democrat. You can not be both.
You need to worry that you have a split personality not what the Vice President is doing or saying.

Sometimes regardless of party lines, some people do stuff that just can't be aloud. Mr. Cheney did that when he undermined Mr. Tenet and brought our country to war.

Just becasue the truth is being leaked out doesn't mean you can't accept it. Face it, Bush and his little friends just wanted some kind of controversy during his presidency and he just had to make up some phony reason for war. Be worried, very worried
