Walmart has been around a long while here, and I'd been in there a few times and walked right out because there was no walking room in there and it was clostraphobig. But I started buying from Chadwicks and other mail order catalogs and realized that the clothing Chadwicks sells is also sold by Walmart. And when i visited Walmart the clothes were so inexpensive and I live on a tight budget, so I began to shop there last year, and I love it, they have a great selection, aren't as crowded with stuff anymore, and they have "everything" I'd ever think of needing from clothes to food to car stuff and paint. They're great! And, I hear they even hire seniors, plus they help people get their education, and they are now raising the wage of their workers..

Because I own stock in the company!!

Other than that - there are no discount stores close since they closed down the K-Marts and Wal Mart is cheaper, plus I can do my grocery shopping there as well. And the grocery store is cheaper than the locally-owned semi-monopolistic chain that is so popular in Texas and the products are exactly the same. Not to mention that Wal Mart checkout lanes are open where the grocery store lanes at the other stores are all 10 items or less and only one is open for more than 10 items. I like to get my frozen products home before they thaw out and/or melt.

Wal Mart is basically just a place where I can do it all at one time and save money on gas and not put miles on my new car.

I just love the place.I can always go there and put something on layaway and I wish that there was a 24 hour walmart in my town but there isn't. The prices were more affordable than other places, I go there for all of my household need and what makes it even better ,it's right by my favorite affordable grocery store,Food 4 Less.

i like walmart too, in accordance to 3 of my pals that artwork there they're removing layaway in November. yet another pal of mine gets a giftcard on Jan. a million with 10 or 20$ on it and then everytime she shops she provides a minimum of 10$ to it. Then she has each and all the money she desires for Christmas. present enjoying cards do no longer exprire and there are no expenses on them till you do no longer use them for like 2 years... objective does not have layaway the two so a techniques as i comprehend. good success.

Rarely do I shop at Walmart. I don't care for some of the late Sam Walton's kids, but that is another story.

my husband hates walmart! i shop there because of the prices. when they put something on sale, its a bargain. i can pretty much buy any item at walmart cheaper than the local grocery store.

love their prices. they also have some pretty cute shoes in the girls and women's area. i buy shoes to match every outfit... but i do notice the difference in comfort between walmart shoes and department store or designer brands so be sure to try them on... plus in the cereal isle they have the most selection at the absolute best price.

NO! Walmart is so bad. They outsource jobs, discriminate against women and minorities. They are so very VERY bad for america!

Everyone should see this movie: Wal-mart: the high cost of low prices
