there was a dead fly in my brussel sprouts last night and my parents made me eat them if i wanted ice cream then after i ate the ice cream i thought of the fly and puked and lost the ice cream and i feel something flying around in my stomach....do they owe me free ice cream and can i sue them?

You should have given it to them to eat. Tell them you don't eat meat on that certain day of the week! Yes, they owe you a gallon of ice cream! They're lucky they still have you after that!

Brussel sprouts or not...dead fly - not eating it! I'll get ice cream somewhere else! No you can't sue anyone - things happen. And if you puked, then there's nothing flying around in your stomach. No free ice cream either. Not fair, though, that you still had to eat your sprouts.
P.S. - Did you eat the fly? And, it was dead to begin with..so no fly is flying around in your tummy.

No, you can't sue them. No, they don't owe you an ice cream, but they SHOULD NOT have made you eat brussel sprouts with a fly in them. That's just not right or acceptable for a parent to do, because they would not have eaten their food if it had a fly in it.

No, you can't sue your parents and no they shouldn't have made you eat the brussel sprouts.
Why not find a dead fly and put it in their food and see if they'll eat it? If they don't...then remind them of your ice cream / sprout deal and say if they don't eat their food, that they should get your another ice cream.

man, been there. as a kid i was forced to eat oatmeal with bugs in it. started crying after about half a bowl. finally got my mom convinced to look...said it wouldn't kill me.
just think...it makes a good story to tell to friends when they are around :)
