Why would you need an idiots guide to the dictionary??? Just use it to look up the words you need. I think the dictionary already qualifies as 'an idiots guide to'

Problem is, smart people are too smart to understand the idiots well enough to write such a dictionary.....and the idiots are, well, idiots.

Maybe a "Cancel Idiot" button is a more practical solution to the idiot problem.

If you were to invent such a button, i predict you would become very popular.

Well, except with *idiots*.....

Idiot is a word derived from the Greek ιδιωτης, idiōtēs ("layman," "person lacking professional skill," "a private citizen," "individual"), from ιδιος, idios ("private," "one's own").[citation needed] In Latin the word idiota ("ordinary person, layman") preceded the Late Latin meaning "uneducated or ignorant person". Its modern meaning and form dates back to Middle English around the year 1300, from the Old French idiote ("uneducated or ignorant person").[citation needed] The related word idiocy dates to 1487 and may have been analagously modeled on the words prophet and prophecy.

So I can especially hand it out to my fellow soccer moms in their minivans with their cell phone attatched to their ear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Or the large population who does not understand how to merge!
Or the large population that seems to think Ebonics is actually a language!
So many times I have thought the same thing :-)
