I plan on buying this car in the next couple of years. Does anyone have any advice on it?

I love my HHR LT2. I purchased the fully loaded package and it's one sweet car. The LT2 handles great, it's a fun car to drive. I tried using regular unleaded in it at first and it was quite sluggish. There was a huge difference once I started using premium. It costs more but is worth it with how much better the car performs. Two can sit in the back comfortably or three in a pinch. With the seats down in back you can load quite a bit of stuff. The hidden compartments in the back are a nice touch.

I have two complaints; one is the drink holders are in the worst place. Someone was really asleep when they decided to put the cup holders down next to the emergency brake handle. The second complaint is that the turning radius is awful. I traded in a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer and that car could turn on a dime. The HHR's turning radius is more like a mid-sized truck in comparison. Every tight turn is at least a two point, u-turns are very iffy on weather you'll have enough room or not. Other than those two issues the car is great.

I've owned my HHR LT2 for about 9 months now.

A business partner rented one on a business trip and honestly, there are other, better cars for the money. There is no back seat in this car and it is a dog when accelerating.
If you have to buy a Chevy, get the Impala.
If you like the styling, the PT Cruiser is actually better.....and I am not a Chrysler fan.

Nope. They are P.O.S.'es. Do you want one? I sure as Hell wouldn't own one.
