This is the best craft that I have come across... My husband is a boy scout leader and we learned this several years ago. You hang them up on a string and heat them up with a lighter... not a blaze but when they get hot, the plastic melts and when it is dark and quiet, they make a zinging sound as each piece drops to the ground. If you have several of them in a row, it sounds and looks like mini fireworks. Of course, this requires adult supervision at all times and an adult will have to light the plastic rings... but it is really neat to see.... Hope you try it!
