I just HAPPEN to have the answer, right here!!! It's your lucky day! Well, not really. How can you ask such a thing? Humans can't even find their way out of a paper bag, much less achieve peace amongst each other, much less give anyone, including you, ANY idea of what happens after we die! You're just gonna have to wait - hopefully a LONG time - and see what happens, like the rest of us! Isn't that nice?

just a short verse from The Bible:
"For the living know that they will die; but the dead know nothing and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Also their love, their hatred , their envy have now perished; nevermore will they have a share in anything done under the sun"Ecclesiastes 9:5-6
This actually goes to proove that according to the Bible there is no re-incarnation or after life if that is wot u mean or asking!

Our physical body did not exist before we were born, nor will it continue to exist after we die, however, our Soul has always existed before and after as it is eternal and immortal. This verse from The Bhagavad Gita is the truth:
"For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain." Ch.2, v.20
We truly are not the physical body. We are spiritual beings that reside in a physical body temporarily.

I don't know, I've always wondered about that as well... Different religions give you different viewpoints however, in Christianity you either go to Heaven or Hell, in Hinduism you're reincarnated, and etc. If you're aetheist, then I guess it's just the end, it'll be an eternal sleep wiht no dreams and no nightmares. At least that's how I think it'd be if there is no God.

Look here, this is a region where I can help you! ;) I am sort of a spiritual guru and I converse with spirits regularily... and therefore I know what can be spoken about life after death... We die, and then we're punished/rewarded for what we have done in life and if we are internally impure, God sends us to hell(and v become ghosts), if He thinks we should get another chance, we take a rebirth, and if He is happy with us, we go to Heaven and are granted eternal rest(as spirits)...... and if yu wanna talk with spirits do contact me!

I think if we ever really knew it would make life as we know unbearable. There would be no dynamic viewpoints - granted these dynamic viewpoints have often led to war - no philosophy, no creative thoughts on the hereafter. Also for those who don't like to think about such things there would be no drive to enjoy life here on earth. In short knowing the answer if there is an answer might make life very dull.

i believe that we will go to heaven if we have faithfully comitted ourselves to God. Then in heaven, there is new life, and we praise and worship the King our God for all the rest of the days. Here, this should help:
Revelation 21
The New Jerusalem
1Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a beautiful bride prepared for her husband.
3I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, "Look, the home of God is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.[a] 4He will remove all of their sorrows, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. For the old world and its evils are gone forever."
5And the one sitting on the throne said, "Look, I am making all things new!" And then he said to me, "Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true." 6And he also said, "It is finished! I am the Alpha and the Omega--the Beginning and the End. To all who are thirsty I will give the springs of the water of life without charge! 7All who are victorious will inherit all these blessings, and I will be their God, and they will be my children.

**** up, gone, sienara (sp?), nice knowing you but good bye.
There was a best selling book from the 70s called "Denial of Death" and it outlines that everything we do, we do to deny thinking about or mortality.
This brings up a good question, are the good deeds of an atheist better than the good deeds of a religious person since they are done from altruism and not to please a diety?

Some believe you'll go to heaven, some believe your spirit will wander, some believe you'll turn into an animal, some believe that your body chooses what it wants to do before you die. I, personally, believe all of those.

I have a strong belief of going to Heaven.
And I know I can't see God or angels or anything like that, but...
"John 20:31
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
