Easiest one that actually bolts in would be a 2ZZ-GE, the 180 hp engine found in certain Celicas, later Corollas, and the Matrix and Vibe. It's no bigger than the original but a lot more powerful. Anything else is going to be a lot of work.
Depending on how much work you're willing to do or pay for, you can get just about any engine in - I've seen a CRX with a Chevy V8 and a Pontiac (Daewoo) LeMans with a V6 where the back seat used to be.

I wouldn't bother with a Corolla. Swaps are a lot of work and stuff doesn't always work out nice, like steering, transmission, exhaust and so on. If you're intent on building a screaming corolla, consider building up the existing motor and put in a big turbo or run nitrous.

y dont u just sell ur corolla, and use that money plus the money that u would use to buy a new engine, and buy a faster, more powerfil car. use the money as a downpayment, and it will get u low monthly fees.
