I am sorry I can't dress preppy, like the other white guys. I like to wear Fubu,Phat farm,Sean John etc. It makes me a wigger, because I have my own style and I don't talk so safisticated like the other white guys. It's not my fault that I am not into that whole whack @SS white culture. I like the way I dress and the way I talk. Hell! I aint changing for nobody.

If thats you, that's you. Be proud of yourself, and don't listen to what other people got to say about you..don't try to change your ways for nobody.

Fashion Tip: Fubu is ugly and out of style.

It is most likely because the companies like Fubu and phat farm were developed by black people and the clothes are mostly seen being worn by black people. There's nothing wrong with liking the gangsta style it just that there's a stereotype that portrays black people as having a "gangsta" style and white people being more sophisticated.

I hate the word "wigger". Its just as deogratory and stupid as the N-word itself. Dress however you want. No you dont have "identity issues", they're just clothing. And clothes dont define who you are as a person; thats just judgemental. However, saying your own culture is "wack" is kind of borderline self-hatred? Everyone should be proud of their heritege. What is your nationality? (Irish, Italian, etc?) You know, you disrespect your background and your ancestors when you make remarks like that and thats not cool...

Also, I wouldnt refer to Hip Hop fashion as "gangsta style", because thats not really what it is. (Afterall, werent the Italian Mafia [and others] the real 'gangsters' anyway?) And, not all Black people dress like that either.

Like I said before, they're just clothes. You are not your clothes. You're just you.

I guess the style iz suppose to b 4 black ppl *only*, but I think anybody could dress the way they want to! If ppl were so worried about the way other ppl dress they should make laws and restrictions, otherwise they should mind there own busisness!!

FUBU means "For us by us". I'm thinking "Us" doesn't refer to white folks. But forget the haters, man. Just be yourself. And if wearing FUBU and Phat Farm is who you are, go for it and walk tall.

Why do you want to be a gangsta??? Most of them never live to see age 30, and the ones that do,do so only because they are in jail serving long sentences.

Dress as you feel you must, but study and graduate, and get a job.

Your future self will be thanking you.

There is a distinct difference between having a style of your own, acting like someone else and being yourself.
When you figure that out you don't have to worry about what someone calls you. It's what you answer to !That's what counts!

dress however you want, if someone's got a problem with it, tell them to take it outside. some people think all the "black culture" attire is stupid, some don't, just don't worry about it. don't change for anybody, at least til its time to get a job in the real world, then you'll have to grow up and dress normal.

That's cool dressing how you want to, but in today's society dressing like a gangsta will get you stares and in trouble.
Do you think you'll be dressing like a gangsta when your 40?
