I take a very rapid (walked fast) walk and when done, my chest tightened.

facts:

I haven't walked in 3 months
I am overweight
I was not out of breath

To me it is probably nothing, but my chest is still tight (and I walked over an hour ago).

Thank you

lack of oxygen during the time? but i'm not so sure about later. it can also be the amount of exercise you have and sorry to say, i think the weight problem.

Depends on how old you are... to give you an appropriate differential.

You are out of shape... so your tightness could be your body's way of being out of breath.
Exercise Asthma
Heart Failure
etc...
I would probably go with the lung process such as asthma..
try building up your endurance.
If you can't build up your endurance see your doc for a pulmonary function test.
