According to http://www.mistupid.com/astronomy/orbits.htm Pluto intercects Saturn, Jupitor, Neptune, and Uranus's orbits. In your opinion, what would happen if Pluto collided with one of these planets?

One answer was that it wouldn't due to it's erratic orbit. I would like to point out that Pluto's orbit still follows a pattern. every year for Pluto ends in the same relevant position as the previous years. In theory, the planets COULD in fact collide. Two or more regular orbits going at different speeds inevitable will collide at some point in their travels. I suppose the true question to follow up with is when? not if. Cheers!

Pluto's orbit does not intersect with any other planets as it orbits in a different plane than the rest.
Pluto will not collide with any other planets, it just looks that way in the above linked animation since they are trying to represent a 3 dimensional solar system on a 2 dimensional screen.
"Did you wonder: Will Pluto and Neptune ever collide? They won't, because their orbits are so different. Pluto intersects the solar system's ecliptic, or orbital plane, twice as its orbit brings it "above," then "below" that plane where most of the other planets' revolve -- including Neptune. And, though they are neighbors Pluto and Neptune are always more than a billion miles apart."

It would make a heck of a mess but Jupiter, Neptune & Saturn
would probably survive intact and in relatively the same orbit they are now. It might damage Uranus so so bad it could be knocked into some new orbit and bump in to some other planet.....like us...

Probably the same thing that happened to the planet that was between earth and mars.. all that is left is a lot of debris. It would not be the demise of the larger planet however... more than likely Pluto would appear only as a comet, to those huge planets.

Pluto's orbit crosses Neptune's orbit when viewed from above... and ONLY Neptune's orbit.
If it collided with Neptune, it would make a huge explosion... not quite as big as the one that formed Earth's moon, but almost.
P.S. You do not have to worry about it. Neptune and Pluto will not approach each other for centuries, at least.

It would alter their orbit and send the planet hurtling through space towards earth! Then we'd all get some warning that we're about to die and we'd all go crazy. And on the day of impact every human being would be screaming so loud that the screams would reverberate throughout the universe for all time!
K seriously, I don't know!

It would make a real mess. And very probably fragments of that collision could have some nasty repurcussions on Earth.
