If you have to ask this question... I'd hazard you're not so certain, and since you state she already gave you a reading, it really makes me wonder why you're wondering?? ;) Sylvia Browne is very coy about how she does her sessions. Carefully marked and targeted questions, would argue she's not to be trusted. Psychics should never ask questions the way she does. Her books are nonsense... Watch her on a TV show the next time you have a chance, and piece her questioning together, or the way she recoils remarks after questions were asked and stated shortly prior. She might believe she's psychic, but she's likely more so gifted in her art of artistic manipulation. She's had years of practice.

well, a reading is difficult for anyone else to judge besides the person receiving it. i do believe in the abilities of psychics from my own personal experiences. i know sylvia is quite expensive. the things she told you about the future may or not come true because you can take action to do something different. you kow, the whole free will thing that God gave us. God gave psychics their abilities. it's how they develop and use the ability that determines if they are trustworthy or not. one thing about sylvia that i've seen on tv is that she doesn't always explain things very well and montell usually steps in to interpret for the audience member. sometimes when a person knows something so well, they speak to others in a manner that assumes the same level of understanding. for all of her extensive knowledge and experience she hasn't put much into speaking to people on their own level. well, a lot of people are idiots and it can be difficult to deal with idiots even when they have the best intentions.

I think Sylvia Browne is a charlatan and a fraud! I've seen her on the Montel show and sometimes she makes a total *** of herself. One time, this girl in the audience asked Sylvia if she knew anything about her (the girl's) parents. Sylvia said "They're around you right now" and some other psycho babble. The girl smiled and said, "They're alive and well. They're not around me. They're on vacation in Italy."
Sylvia didn't know how to weasel out of that one.
Watch her body language. If you understand body language, it's obvious that the woman is winging it, making crap up, and being totally full of crap. She's a predator making money on people's grief for their loved ones, and people's fears of the supernatural.
That's my thought on Sylvia Browne.

Over 5 years ago Ms. Browne on Larry Kings CNN show agreed to be tested. James Randi and others have put up there own money, (now over 1 million dollars) to anyone who can prove, in a controlled setting, that they have "super" powers.
This woman has claimed to be a psychic for over 50 years. If she has the power why should she (or others) fear a simple test that BOTH parties have to agree on conditions?

I read her books and watch her on TV. I think that you would feel if she was right on. Was she vague about your future or did she say stuff that you didn't want to hear? Was it a telephone reading? I guess only time will tell!!

I've watched her on TV, and I've also read one of her books.
I think shes full of it.
I'd be cautious when dealing with any of these circus performers.

I've never experienced her personally, she may be good at what she does, I don't know.
What I DO know is she has zero tact and for that, I think she is no good.
