He was an inspiration and of course it sucks he died. But truthfully it sucks when anyone dies regardless of their background.

Yes, it's a tragic death of Steve Irwin. He was a real neat guy and was really poplar and people learned a lot from him, but all that's been said there's no need to repeat, but I'm having a difficult time with regard to the terrible risks that he took. Of course everyone remembers when he had his small baby with him while he fed a crockadile. Why? He had those two kids and wife. He should've not taken such risks that he did. All for TV, but he could've done his job educating and entertaining people without such risks. The snakes, the crocks, and others, he simply went over the line by risking his life. I believe there are limits one should take especially where there is a wife and family to take care of and it's an obligation. They will miss him terribly. He was really a neat guy and his accent just made it even neater. He will surely be missed.

Yes, its tragic & sad, He was a great icon for Australia and did amazing things, Especially for conservation, animals and his family...
But what sucks even more, is that there are 1000+ questions that you could have browsed to attain your answer,
It is tragic, & people don't appreciate it being brought up every hour, This just leaves more room for nasty comments to be made about him that don't need to be said.
Time will eventually heal all wounds, Just pray for his family becasue they are the ones that are having the hardest time right now.
Please just let this man rest in peace..

CRIKEY! YES! He did alot to show the beauty of nature and animals. How bizarre he would die in such a freak accident that has only occured about 18 times known to man. He will be missed.

Yes, I do. It's a real shame that he had to die so young. With all the previous injuries that man had suffered over the years, we just got used to thinking that he was invincible, I guess. At least he died doing what he loved.

Yes it does SUCK, and it's really sad that we lost such a good conservationist and hero in my kids eyes! They seem to be taking this the hardest, my oldest said "Mom I feel like I just lost one of my best friends". That's what hurts the most!!!!!!!!

I do think that sucks but I never saw him to die like that. I thought it would have been a crocodile that got him. I was so wrong!! His memories and spirit will live on always.

I'll bet his daughter, son, and widow think yes. Especially his daughter, she was slated to act in his next flick.
