the commonly spoken word of as a ringing and clicking in the head or head noise is called tinnitus "Tin-EYE-tus"- defined as the perception sound in the head when no external sound is present. in addition to ringing , head noises have been described as hissing, roaring , pulsing ,whooshing , chirping, whistling and cclicking. ringing and head noise can occur in one ear or both. and can be perceived to tbe occuring inside or outside the ears. it can accompany hearing loss. it can exist independent of a hearing loss.
the first thign u should do is find out the underlying cause:
you should have a medical examination with special attention given to checking tinnitus such as : blood pressure, kidney function, kind of medication/drug intake, diet and allergies, emotional stress, noise exposure and diseases involving auditory system---mostly associated with the conditions that occur at all levels of auditory system. some of these conditions are: impacted wax( external ear),ear infection. middle ear tumors, otosclerosis, vascular problems(middle ear), circulation disorder----these induced hearing loss

This kind of condition should be evaluated by a certified audiologist....

It sounds like you have a fairly common condition that I can't spell (start with TIN)
and I have never heard of a cure for it. I had a friend who had it and even Barbra Streisand has it or so I have heard. I am speaking about the ringing, but the clicking could be a jaw problem. It wouldn't hurt to see a Ear and Throat Doctor!
