A dead bride. Design your house, especially the front with smoke and all dead stuff. Put a chair outside and sit on it. Have the candy in your hands and when someone walks to get some, scare them...but don't scare the young children.

Gumby! I'm kidding, you probably don't want to wear that. How about a guerrilla suit? That would scare some children.

Don't wear anything skanky, as young children are impressionable, and I'm sure their mothers wouldn't be too pleased. Maybe a Renaissance queen, 1950s sock-hop girl, fire-fighter, Egyptian Goddess, or Viking warrior would be appropriate.

i would stay away from clichees and create something that has not possibly been chosen by another. so witch, devil, pirate, princess is out of question :)) in our last costume party, we had interesting costumes so let me share them with you: indian princess, very easy to make, just need glittered fabric and roll it all over you and sparkle make-up, a sticker btw eyebrows and some black eye make-up // or you could be a flower - just buy flowers and get covered with them // i also love fairy costumes bcs although they are chosen by lots of ppl you can be star if you choose the fabric correctly - pink purple blue glittering fabrics and make-up (it is difficult to describe but i have a great vision of it in my mind) - i also would like an elf costume-you know, long ears and a great elegant dress and white powder on face :)) it is difficult considering your age to find something bcs i dont know your mood and style but i also would love to get dressed as mermaid (you only need some blue fabric and blue-green-white plastic bags) enjoy your halloween
