Yep! I was a biker in Vampie Biker Babes. A vampire slaughtered me! She ripped me open, threw my guts on the wall while I watched and screamed! She drug me up the side of a building to finish me off on top of the roof. Then in the sequel, I come back as a vampire.
I got turned into a freakin' vampire! Doesn't that sound like it affected me???

A long time ago, I learned what death was from a horror movie that sported a giant octopus. But years later, after we'd imbibed some questionable chemicals, I saw Night of the Living Dead" with an old flame, in a cabin out in the middle of the woods .As it began to become very real, the power went out and we were left alone in the dark. Eeeeeeeee!

Killer Clowns from Outer Space. I saw it when I was fairly young, but it was the first movie I saw that made clowns look and act scary, killing people and sucking their blood and all that. The movie, in fact, was supposed to be somewhat comedic, but that's not how I saw it at all. I had bad dreams about that movie for like a whole year and I don't dare rent that movie. But, if for some reason it came on TV, I would probably stay and watch it just to see if I've gotten over any of that stuff.
The Mothman Prophecies made me freaked out everytime I thought what I saw were two red eyes in the dark when they just turned out to be the moon reflecting off car headlights across the street. That movie freaked me out because it was based on a true story. Any horror movie that is based on a true story freaks me out even more.
And last would have to be the most recent, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, because that too was based on a true story. But, the main reason I was freaked out by it was because it was based on an exorcism. I'm not sure if I believe that there are such things as people possessed by Satan but I know Satan exists and movies that depict hell, hellish figures, demons, or devils freak me out because they exist too. Maybe just not on Earth. I guess that's why those movies freak me out so much--cuz the creatures are in our plane of existence, on Earth and not in hell.

Yes. I laughed my *** off during the Blair Witch Project, but I live in the woods. So one night, I was coming home and I got out of my car and thought I heard cackling. I started sweating and running toward the house. My boyfriend just looked at me like I was the biggest dork. I also haven't gone camping since.

I had nightmares about The Ring for weeks. I know it sounds stupid, but I just couldn't handle the first dead person they found (the young chick curled up in the wardrobe about ten minutes into the movie). Ick.

Yes, The Ring, because every time I looked in a mirror after that, I pictured my face being all wavy like the faces in the photographs. Luckily that effect faded after a day or two.
