Ok, so I'm happy-go-lucky. I don't fight w/people and I smile no matter the situation cause I just say what's the point in being miserable. Well... there are people who say just because someone is happy, that they're an air head. I'm actually a smart person. I had a couple of co-workers who were so angry and miserable and would try to bring me down then they'd get pissed and call me an airhead cause they're all gossipy. So how come unhappy people assume that bubbly people are airheads.

Good for you there should be more people like that around
you obviously are aware that positive begets positive
negative ´people attract negative responses.

if you go looking for white pebbles
you will find white pebbles
and if you seek black ones that is what you will encounter,
the same goes for attitudes
Dont change your tactics ,and in the end you will be surrounded by happy people
Haleluyah
all the gods be with you.

Because they are airheads...just kidding, kinda. Anyway being someone who is more angry :) I would have to say its just because we are in a bad mood and dont like it when people come up to us all happy and such. And you try to make them miserable because well you need company. Anyway to answer the airhead part of your question I think that people just assume that smarter people are kind'a quiet and introverted..instead of OMG HIIII

Miserable people will try to make others miserable because they think they have reason to be mad so if you aren't, they think you are telling them that they are wrong. It is subconscious, their feelings and cannot be helped. All you can do is go on being happy because you are right, what is the point of being mad all the time, nothing.

Ever heard the phrase "misery loves company"? I think that pretty much answers your question.

But really, it's probably just that unhappy people have to invent some flaw in happy people so that they can justify their own negative and depressing attitudes to themselves. Having said that, though, intelligent people generally seem to be less happy than unintelligent people (for whatever reason), so it's likely that their feelings aren't completely unfounded.

Nobody cares how happy we are in life, just as long as we are not any happier than they are. If we're happier, they'll try their very best to bring us down to their level. And that is why they call you an airhead, even if it is to others behind you back, in hopes the others will join them in helping too bring you down.

I'm pretty much the same as you...I'm more like Mt. Vesuvius, I explode once every several months...There's some people that just get happy by making others miserable...

It's because they are wieghted down with worry and angst over what could happen next.

They think that you don't know that bad things can happen all the time.

Unfortunatly, I'm somewhere in that . Just feel bad for them. The stress is pretty sh~tty.

You have something in your heart and in your whole mind that they have not posessed yet because of a cold heart.
