With all the news stories on tv, and in the media, I am getting back all those creepy, sad feelings again. It's so depressing. I just can't believe it happened.

I understand your feelings if you are someone who cares deeply. It is difficult to ignore the horrible events that occurred.

I look at this in another light, by seeing that there is new found peace among people and populations because of this shared tragedy. I also see that the country is much more passionate about preventing this from happening again. Perhaps we need to take the creepy feelings and ask, "What can we do to turn this into a positive movement for peace and better relations"? I do believe that many people have come together who would not otherwise have done so.

This does not justify the terrible tragedy and loss for families and the pain many experienced. But at times like this, we need to allow our grief to diminish and look for ways to improve the world. Then you will feel hope instead of creepy.

Lets unite as brothers and sisters to care for one another.

yes. And September 11th is my son's birthday. It's very sad. But in a way, I'm glad they do bring it up because we need to remember those innocent people who lost their lives. We need to remember the brave ones that did all they could to prevent more loss of lives, "Let's Roll!" We need to know why we are fighting terrorism and not become indifferent to the cause. At any time, a terrorist would love to bring us to our knees again. We won't take it though. We are Americans and love our freedoms.

Yes, I'm depressed. I lost a few friends that day and I'm shocked that it happened. The only thing I'm mad about are those people who think the 9/11 was a conspiracy. It wasn't our government, it was frekin' Osama & his-- I hate America crap. If they haven't noticed, the middle east has been responsible for most of the terrorist attacks in the west.

I can understand your pain, But as i live in Australia, I am going to try to explain my point of view..
Yes, what happpened to the twin towers was a huge event in history, people died & people still mourn.

But all the people who think revenge is the answer, just think about those people in Iraq, that have been killed.. becasue of the USA, trying to defend terroism, Everyday innocent people are slaughtered and killed..
Spare a thought for them , because it isn't their fault 9-11 happened, and till this day they still have to pay for it.

Yes, but considering I live less than 15 miles from Ground Zero and know some people who survived the attack, I probably get more depressed than most others.

It is so sad. I really can't see the point of all the coverage of it again. I imagine alot of people are going to go back to the depressed state they were in.

Yes, I know what you mean. It will be a day to remember what happened for me. It is also creepy, I think back to when I was in school and heard what had happened. But it also brings mixed emotions because Sept. 11 is also my sister's Birthday so i must also celebrate. It is a confusing day for me but I must push past and celebrate with my sister. Afterall she didn't ask for that day to be her Bday and she deserves to celebrate on her day!

Omg i so totally was today!! Every site has been advertising 9/11 stuff and I feel so sad and I hate seeing footage of that day!! They just need to respect that day and not show any more of the footage.
