If your question is related to dimensions of space like x, y, z co ordinates, the answer is YES.
Xaxis,
Yaxis
& Z Axis are well known dimensions reffered in geometry.
As any child knows, geometry is a part of maths and maths is called as the pure science. Also called as the pure language as any one and every one who has seen a penny knows the value of the symbol 1, literate or illiterate.

Science extensively uses math. Pioneer mathematicians are also pioneer in some other branch of science (Eg Bernoulli)and any scientist should be a math freak (Einstein, Newton you know them).

Science refers TIME as the fourth dimension(All the above mentioned crap is to bring you the link and hence relevance. Arts use geometry and hence science as you may understand from above)

how come time? you ask.
Think that you have two tennis balls in your hand, and are in your room. Throw the tennis balls in opposite directions, towards the walls. They bounce back.

The factors that determine if or if not the balls will collide , provided you gave same force for both, depends on x,y,z coordinates of the place in your room from where you threw, xyz of where the tennis balls meet the walls and the next most important thing TIME.

An easier example to read: In your favourite bike race, your fav one bends the bike on curves. It is xyz and time handling which keeps him from falling.

I read in some book that at the time of Big bang (Blast which gave current universe), it was 11 dimensional ie 11D.

Note:
I am basically an engineer and saw the ? with an Engg perspective. As the genre is Visual arts I believe I am relevant. If it is irrelevant pardon me.

I think there's a fourth dimension besides the three well-known: the time. I also believe that since the universe is so...big and so complicated, everything's possible. Even some other dimensions which we haven't discovered yet and which we may never discover.

Possibly, Yes. Our cognitive abilities are continuously improving. As we become more specialized delving into the mysteries of science, the possibility of discovery is thus so much greater. Every generation brings forth more discovery and invention; usually for the greater good of humanity. As more people question and study any aspect of our world, the chances of finding other dimensions are greatly enhanced.

i think so. why shouldn't there be? heaven must be in another dimension, for those who believe. maybe ghosts get trapped in ours, and that's why they look....ghostly!
