Very good question! I have wondered that to . The Celebrity gossip gets a little out of hand because of the tabloids and that gets ugly. As for the gossip about who's going out with who , I don't know people just like to know that stuff.
I think people are jealous of celebrities because they supposedly have the perfect life and they want something to pounce on when the celebs screw up .
What people need to understand is nobody is perfect. Not even Jennifer Aniston. It just this big act they put on to make people jealous . That's what I think . An example is when you hear about how much they spend on their clothes , which kind of makes me laugh cause you can just as easily get something similar at an everyday clothing store like Dillard’s , JC Penny , Wal-Mart , K-Mart or a boutique for under a thousand dollars.
People have become so ungrateful and expect so much out of stuff they buy because their favorite celebrity has it. What I mean is , I am from a small town in New Mexico . For clothing stores , we have Wal-Mart , K-mart , JCPennys, Bealls, Burke's outlet , and a few boutiques . We don't have no place to buy clothes that cost more than our house is worth. We are getting better with Restaurants but we don't have anything fancy , we have a few of the chains and a few family owned and operated cafes and restaurants. We don't have any high class dance clubs and spas. Oh and where to get a haircut ? Pro-cuts! I have been raised to just go with what you have and make the most out of it. These celebrities make small town folks look like nothing more than a speck of dust

Ya some people are completly obsessed, but why? Maybe they just don't have a life, so they have to know every, single thing about someone elses. They're just want that knd of life so bad, that they need to know everything about someone who live that kind of life. I watch Extra every once in a while, but it is just so interesting sometimes. The difference is, Im not an obsessive freak. And I do not spend money every year for my subscription to People magazine. So i'm living my own, freaking life, and i'm so dang proud!

I knew a guy named Goddam. He's a real jerk face. He screamed at me once because he was speaking a language I don't know and I said excuse me? So he screamed at me. He is a freak show.
And yeah people should probably get lives. But who are we to judge..

I just like to know what's going on with the actors and singers I enjoy. I wish no harm...I am interested because they are interesting. That would be like asking why I care what a good book has to say...hmmmm..I bet you won't equate the two. So be it.

Like why should anyone give a damn what Tom Cruise's baby looks like? Or who Brad and whoever are screwing this week? Or who the Princes are getting drunk with?

why do you care? Just do like most of us and don't bother with it. Gossip is enjoyed by shallow people that live their lives through the "fantasy" of others lives.
