I'm str8 and wouldn't choose to be gay. I have nothing against the gay society, sometimes I am intrigued by it. I think the gay community has a lot of hurdles placed in its way. I am happy with who I am and with the lifestyle that I've chosen.

Nope...been there...done that. Got custody of my kids to prove it. I was miserable as well for the entire 5 years cause I knew something was missing. I am very happy being gay and my partner and I are now raising the kids together. My family has shut me out as well, but I have formed a new family that has an open mind.

Honestly, I'd have to say that it would be much easier for me to be straight. I've learned to accept myself as gay, so as far as that goes, I'd say that I'm happy. But If I was given the choice, I think I'd want to be straight. It might be a less interesting life, but I'd be much closer to my family. However, I would have never met my boyfriend who is my soul mate. So in that sense, no. I would never think of changing.

I'm gay and I would not choose to be straight because I am who I am. Life is so much about acceptance, so it would defeat that part of my life lessons.

Nope, been there, done that...have the teenage son to prove it!

Sorry, but I lived that lie and I was miserable. I'll never go back in the closet....especially after seeing what a mess it is in the rest of the house.

I am perfectly happy the way I am. I feel that I was born this way for a reason, and that instead of wondering if I would switch, I should experience my life and learn the lessons that are contained there.

I am fortunate to have experience to base my choices on. I have chosen to be a lesbian because I find the most joy in that lifestyle.

So I have chosen. Among your answers I see the usual reference to gays being equated to deviants and pedophiles.. so sad that so many are so ignorant.

It's starting to feel like freaky Saturday around here tonight, everyone wants to see who would switch sides. I guess I the same applies here for the female male switch question. I would hope everyone would want a chance to see what life's like in the other ones shoes, but you know most straight won't admit to wanting to switch........

:)
