Why is it that so many of the planets and consellations have Greek or Roman names and symbols? Find out about early astronomers in Greece and other ancient civillizations. write a one page report on your findings.

Greek, Roman civilisations are far too earlier ones compared to the present day, written down history of inventions. There had been similar civilisations much too older as Aryan and Inca civiilisations and they too have scriptures and teaching on the subjects of astronomy.

The purpose of your education is to teach you how to find out what you need to know. Not to learn about Roman gods and astronomy, but to learn how to find the information you need.
Now, somewhere in your school building there is a room with a sign on the door that reads "Library." I am told that in some schools nowadays it reads "Media Center," but it's still the Library.
Go in there and you will find a person called a "Librarian," whose job is to help you learn to use the library to find the information you need. The librarian will show you how to use the computers in there to look up the sources for the information you need.
Then the librarian will tell you how to use a strange gadget called a "book." There are large numbers of these things in those rooms called "libraries." A book is a binder with paper sheets all attached along one edge so you can look at just one at a time. These sheets are called "pages," and each one contains a certain amount of the information you need. The pages are arranged in a logical order, and the librarian will show you how to find the pages you need.
It's really very easy, and it can be more fun than video games if you think about it the right way. If you are not able to develop the right attitude about learning, you will work at McDonald's for the rest of your life.
So that is why people go and learn about things like libraries and books. You may actually enjoy it. Go now.

Because most of the planets and constellation were discovered during the Greek and Roman empires. In the times when these empires ruled the world. Most of the planets' names are Roman named but Greek derived. For example Poseidon the God of the sea in Greek, is Neptune in Roman mythology. Someone correct me if Im wrong but Zeus in Greek mythology is Jupiter in Roman mythology.
I promise you that no one on this site will write you a 1 page report, its just something your going to have to research on your own.
