Go to the official New York Yankee website and go to active roster. Then click on Jeter.

Derek Jeter has not pitched in the majors.
In the past, it was very common for a position player to pitch in a blow-out game to save the real pitchers and give the player a chance to remember their little league days.
This is happening less often since Jose Canseco blew out his arm pitching in a blow out game.

I am a Red Sox fan with a great deal of respect for Jeter (I hate his team, not him). That having been said, no, Jeter has never pitched in the bigs.

Nope but Mark Loretta of the Boston Red Sox has played there along with every other position except catcher.

no, yankees really never had to embarress themselves like that. But remember when cancseco screwed his elbow up when he pitched in a game haha.

nope hes a SS but he was a fielder when he was younger and he wanted to pitch when he was like 10

no hes never pitched, but hes beat up other teams pitching, hes mad good. both in the field and in offense, good production.
