Yeah, I know how you feel...
But you know what? I was a TOTAL GEEK in 4th grade. Then, I remember running for Student Body in 5th grade as Treasurer. Then, suddenly, math was cool. Then, it motivated me... When my term ended right before the second semester, I decided to run for president. I didn't make it, but you know what? I didn't care, because I had gotten in as a representative. After that, I convinced quite a number of people that recess and lunch weren't the only good parts of school...
After that, in 6th grade, I remember using a Disney character... I think it was Stitch... to help me campaign... He was all over the place on my posters and campaign stickers. I could also imitate his voice, which I used in my speech. Earlier, though, I was slightly nervous because everyone had a speech. Just a speech. No skit or anything. Just a speech. I thought I would look dorky or stupid, but it was a pretty big hit in the final votes... I got in!
Then... Roller backpack incident. They were pretty uncool, so I was slighted by a lot of "popular" kids. But you know what? I kept my head high and didn't care about what they said.
Eh, forget about me... Got sidetracked... >P Sorry... Anyways, my main point is:
Become a better person. Get friends. They can actually help you. And don't act differently from who you really are, because you're going to regret it...

That's because they don't like things that they don't know. they won't except things that they can't control also. It's not difficult to be different. It IS difficult to be okay with others not accepting you though. People are just ignorant. You don't have to be like everyone else, but you will have to realize that it doesn't matter what people think ABOUT you. if they do something to you, though, stand up to them or don't let them walk all over you.... P. S.... I know how you feel. personally, i feel like that every day of my life, i just don't let it get to me.

People don't like different. Differences are what sets us apart and makes us not like everyone else. People who treat you bad because you're different do it because they want you to conform to some invisible societal standard in order for you to be considered "normal" by the majority. And if you're not "normal" they just ostracized you because that's the "normal" thing to do.

people think its easier if we are all the same that way those they think are different are easier to pick on. but little do they know that those of us who act as ourselves not someone else actually have more fun. people like us beacause we dont hide behind discuises. and if anyone treats you badly or bullies you because you are different, whether it be you appearance, smartness, or anything else they are jealous as they couldnt do it first. dont try to be like everyone else. be yourself and you will have fun

Don't worry about it... as you get older that kind of thing goes away. Being different becomes cool. Stick to your own original self. You'll come out on top in the end.

Because of society norms. Society sees people who are different as outcasts or social rejects.
I hate that because everyone has there own special qualities or quirkness that makes them stand out in society.
Just ignore them because there ignorant to your true beauty.....

It's a crying shame, really. I lean more towards the different- to be sure! Why be normal? I like my friends that way, too!

Well, there's a difference between being different and being weird. Like, I don't like people who don't take care of themselves, don't have good hygience, who have no class, etc.
