I just found out the middle/high school names that my mother went to and am searching for copies of her yearbooks from the 60s. She didn't have any of these momentos. I've contacted the schools and have yet to receive a response. I've looked on ebay and nothing there. Does anyone know of a way that I could get a copy of these yearbooks or at least a photo copy of the pages that had pictures of my mother? Thanks!

I checked the answers to your question because, like your mother, I have no mementos of my 60's high school years.From the answers others have given you, it's helped me to find out how to acquire my yearbook. What a very nice thing you are doing for your mother. GOOD QUESTION. Sorry I couldn't help, but you helped me .

1. Find out who published the yearbooks (they usually have archived copies) and might (probably won't, but might) sell you an extra;
2. Check with the library in the town where she went to school (you might at least be able to get a copy of your mom's page);
3. Find out a few of the people who attended school with your mom and they might have an extra copy or be willing to make a copy of her page;
4. Put an ad in the local paper (where she went to school) and see if you can get a copy that way.
GOOD LUCK.

Most school libraries have copies of yearbooks from years past. If possible, go and ask to make copies. If that is not possible, maybe you can get someone at the school to help you.....It would be nice to offer to make a donation to the PTSO or student government association, as a thank you.

On the internet, there are several websites for getting in touch with former classmates, etc. A good one is classmates.com. Go there and put in her information (as if it was yours). Once you locate the correct time period/school, you'll likely find bulletin boards where you can see if anyone has a copy of the yearbook and might scan it for you. Good luck!
