I can suggest something but it really doesn't smell good; however, it is the most effective thing you'll find anywhere!
Wear gloves and open the window (better if you can put a fan in the window to blow out). Use a scrub brush with a long handle, of course. Here's the deal: in a bucket of 2 gallons or so of VERY hot water, mix 2 cups of bleach and one cup of baking soda. The baking soda will make the solution very, very basic and it will be the opposite of acid, but it can irritate the skin so don't let it come in contact with your skin (flush with water if it does and do not let it stand on flesh long). Wet the brush in the solution and scrub the area with the brush; let it stand for 3-5 minutes and hose the tiles or flush the toilet (fantastic for tiles!!! and for the dirty green, or black or brown patches around the outside of the house and sidewalks). Your tiles will stay clean for more than 6-7 months!
You can mix this solution once a month and leave it overnight in the drains of the kitchen sink, the bathroom basin or laundry sink to clean the gunk that accumulates in the pipes and harbors bacteria that cause foul odors; the next day, run a bit of water and go about your daily business.
For outdoor cement sidewalks, it's best to protect your clothes (or wear old work clothes and rubber boots) and scrub this solution during the hot sun, scrub the darkened areas and let stand for a few minutes and hose away! Great way to eliminate slimy algae, fungus and mildew!

To keep your toilet clean and your dog happy, put several tablespoons of Tang Breakfast Drink in the toilet before you leave for work or at bedtime. Let it soak, use your toilet brush to swish around under the rim, and flush. The great thing about this is you don't have to worry if the kids get into the toilet bowl cleaner.
For hard-water rings: Shut off the water at the toilet tank and flush. Spray undiluted white vinegar around the inside of the toilet, then sprinkle borax onto the vinegar. Let soak about 30 minutes and then scrub with a piece of fine drywall sandpaper (looks like window screen - available at hardware stores and home centers). If you have an old hard-water ring you may need to repeat this several times.
Plop-Plop-Fizz-Fizz Cleaning: Drop a couple of denture-cleaning tablets into the toilet and let sit overnight. Brush under the rim with your bowl brush and flush.

Believe it or not... alka seltzer. Just drop a couple of tablets in. 1st, shut the water off at the valve then fill the tank. Drop four or five tablets in and let it sit for an hour. Turn your water back on and flush, rinse with a little bleach afterwords. I don't know about you but smelling clean is better than smelling like a flower... especially when it comes to the toilet! Besides... know ones poop REALLY smells likes roses!

A can of classic coke will remove the stains. Simply pour the coke (all of it) into the toiley and let it sit for awhile, scrub as usual, flush and then pour a bit of clorox bleach in the toilet, let it sit flush and viola you have a fresh, clean toilet that sparkles! Wipe the commode part with baking soda and vinegar for great stain removal and deoderizing.

I just use either Ajax or Comet cleanser and scrub with a stiff toilet brush. The more expense cleaners just for toilets and a waste of money.
