Yes they bite. they can carry rabbies, and you can get a bad infection from the bite.

yes they are dangerous not because of what they are but they carry disease..and to me it is not worth the problem so its best to stay away from them

They are not tame they will bite if you pick one up. They could

any rodent will bite when they feel threatened. some like hedgehogs will bite just cause they feel ornery.
