Just like someone said. They have the freedom to cry or be strong and stuff like that. Girls can do whatever they want to. Be feminine. Be tough. Guys have to act insensitive to things they actually apreciate especially in front of their beer drinkin friends. Guy's are not allowed to think something is pretty. Under no circumstances can they carry something or be associtated with anything that could be construed as "cute" Guys arent allowed to cry. Guys aren't allowed to wear a dress. Girls can wear pants. Guys aren't allowed to get their hair done. Girls can have short hair. In the physical sence women are way more delicate (small feet, hands, etc..) Guys have big stupid size 12 feet that can only wear big stupid sneakers. Women are smooth all over. Men are big hair apes. Women are treated graciously by other men. Men are treated like crap by other men and percieved as a potential threat by many women. I donno....thats I why I would rather be a girl.

every girl i've ever talked to tell me they like guys who will show their emotions better. lots and lots of guys get their air done, and people think its hot or something. girls who are tough can get called masculine or b i t c h y. i wouldnt mind if my boyfriend cried. guys can have long hair (i love my boyfriends hair, and its shoulder length) most girls want a guy who'll understand when theyre sad. women are only smooth in lots of places because they shave. do you know how much women treat women like crap? women have big feet too, and dresses are a nuisance.....
girls have periods, which come up once a month, are just erratic enough that you spend the week before constantly worried about bleeding through your pants, then spend the next 7-10 days running to the bathroom every four to six hours to change your pad or tampon. girls get PMS, and they are all emotional. girls are under pressure to be anorexic thin, and to love the shape they are. they're suppossed to be modest and chaste, showy and promiscuous, quiet and assertive... i could go on for hours on that. guys dont have to worry about getting pregnant, guys dont have to worry about big creepy men twice their strength eyeing them up in stores and on the street, guys get paid more......

you're misled... a guy can do anything listed there if he's not a total and complete puss. If i wanted to get my hair done (its shoulder length) then then i would. I file my nails, i thing things are cute, and pretty if i want to. If a guy doesn't do something because he afraid that his friends will think its to gay of him, then he's gay. I put my own wants ahead of what people think i should do. If someone gets cancer, then i feel bad for them, i don't go play football (this happened at my school).
Guys make more then girls, still hold higher places in the world, and build more muscle faster then girls (without steroids)... Either way you look at it you will die and your body will turn back into what it started from, the earth... so stop yelling about guys any why their so bad and look around you why don't you? Its not important what you are, its what you aren't that is.

Here's why I'd rather be a guy:
You guys can act all bad and have it not be considered wrong. You can sleep around, and not be called bad names by your gender. When women do it, they get labeled by other women as loose. You guys can play football and it's not called "powder puff". You can play video games, and not be nerds. You can walk down the street and not get hit on by crazy drunk men three times your age. You can go into a building alone without the fear of being attacked. You can have muscles and be considered sexy, and not ugly. You can be fat and be considered hot and not ugly. Your video game characters are wearing clothes, not underwear. You can got to high school and middle school without coming home crying because your best friend is flirting with your boyfriend. You can dump your girlfriend for cheating on you, while if we dump our boyfriend, we were being "too harsh" or "not a good enough kisser."
These are my reasons for secretly wanting to be a guy.

I guess I don't make a very good man...I try to be sensitive..I even have been known to cry without feeling apologetic for it...I get my hair done...highlited even blonder if I'm in the mood..I like being hairy all over...I do dislike the fact that some women view me as a stereotype just because I'm male....I have always been treated respectfully by my peers...but I'm a gay male....but that, in itself, doesn't make me any less of a man...and BTW..I'd love it if somebody thought I was cute.

Damn, you need a new lease on life. 99% of men wouldn't trade it for anything. You make more money, you age better, you have more freedom. Most of the things you say you can't do, you can. Maybe you just need new beer drinking friends. I think having a vagina would fully suck. They are always having problems plus the period thing. yuk, you can have it. Overall women are less healthy too. Enjoy your manhood.

some of your points are valid......some are not valid. overall, men and women have their advantages and disadvantages for being that particular gender....to me the obvious ones are that men generally yield more respect because of their size/muscle and women control anything that has to do with sexuality. noone ever said life is fair, at least I hope not.

No thanks. Who says guys have to be tough and insensitive? I am a man, father of two, and I try to be sensitive to others. If you want to let someone else push you into some role, or worse, you choose to fill a role you THINK you have to, then you are being weak about things. Be who YOU are, and enjoy it! You are likely a better person than you may give yourself creit for.
