Uninstall the Symantec software...their crappy Internet tools install network redirectors that force your connection to their home page. Make sure you have detailed steps on how to do it, however. The last time my father-in-law used their crap software, we ended up having to reinstall Windows.

right click the icon of ur internet program go properties then there is a homepage box and type www.yahoo.com

select the page you want. go to tools>>internet options and click use current.
