My last name is Catt, and I want something a little different to go with it. I like Tiger Catt (boy or girl), but is that taking it too far???

Here are a few others I like:
Girls:
Josie
Bella
Clover
Alayna

Boys:
Cosmo
Atticus
Brody

What 'cha think?? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

yes, chidren's names are not their parent's jokes. i have a weird name and have paid for it forever. i finally shortened it to Jen which is not very exciting but at least i don't have to say the exact same thing to everyone who hears my name and asks the exact same question and makes the exact same comments about it. it really, really gets old. please don't name the baby tiger or else he/she will have to run thru the same script and grow to hate it and end up calling himself Tim or Tina or something like that (ew) I like ALL of the other girl names and especially like Brody for the boy name! good luck!

I've always thought unique names are nice, but you do have to think of the child. It's not just a game or naming contest! This is a child! With a unique last name like Catt, you should probably name your child something pretty normal, because kids are mean and will come of ways to make fun of Catt, so make the first name pretty normal, because 2 names to be made fun of would be pretty bad for the child.

I do think that Tiger Catt is going a *little* bit over the edge, but I LOVE the name alayna, props to you on that. As for boys, I'm not really sure if those are ones that *I* personally like, but of course, this is your child, so, out of those, i'd choose... brody.

(I love what that other guy said about having tabby as a girls name, but i am worried about the child being teased... and try the name tristen for a boy or a girl.)

Keep in mind that your baby will not always be a baby. Picture him or her leading the meeting at the board of directors and introducing themselves as Tiger Catt or Cosmo Catt. Do you think they will be taken seriously? Everybody doesn't have to be named Dave or Steve to be taken seriously, but give them a chance. It's cute when they are little babies though.

I like Bella and Brody, those are really cute but Tiger Catt is a little off the wall and your child would probably be teased a whole lot.....

Please spare your child a lifetime of tauntings . . . Tiger would be too much.

Josie . . . as in "Josie and the PussyCatts!"
Clover Catt? Will she ever be taken seriously?
Bella . . . if you want her to grow up to be a vampire.
Alayna is very pretty.

Cosmo Catt. Great for a cartoon character.
Atticus Catt. Sort of like a tongue-twister. Very harsh sounding.
Brody is very nice.

YES - way too far. Think about your child living with the name Tiger and to make it worse, a last name of Catt....

I would also skip Clover and sorry hon, you need ALL new boys names. Ekkk! Cosmo? Do you want your son to be gay?

yes, thats taking it too far. they're going to make fun of the poor kid in school. cosmo and tiger catt is a definite no, i think you should with something a bit more normal like ryan. and alayna sounds better for a girl.

After Tiger Woods... anything goes, lol! I like Clover Catt as well if it's a girl.

I would be careful of naming my child something that may cause them to be teased throughout their school years. When they grow up they may want to work in business and it is hard to be taken seriously when your name is Tiger Catt. I love Brody and Bella. You have such a cool last name that I wouldn't go too offbeat with the first.

Just my opinion. :-)
