You obviously haven't read much of anything about the Kennedy administration. But ask yourself this, "How can a U.S. Senator commit manslaughter while drunk driving, and still be a U.S. Senator?" does Ted Kennedy ring a bell. Seems most politicians are corrupt, educate yourself.

Libs like to keep saying that Bush lied about Iraq yet he didn't say anything that Clinton hadn't said before him:
"His (Saddam Hussein) regime threatens the safety of his people, the stability of his region, and the security of all the rest of us.
What if he fails to comply, and we fail to act, or we take some ambiguous third route which gives him yet more opportunities to develop this program of weapons of mass destruction and continue to press for the release of the sanctions and continue to ignore the solemn commitments that he made?
Well, he will conclude that the international community has lost its will. He will then conclude that he can go right on and do more to rebuild an arsenal of devastating destruction.
And some day, some way, I guarantee you, he'll use the arsenal."
President Clinton
Address to Joint Chiefs of Staff and Pentagon staff

sign of the times Kennedy was advocating too much change in America at a time where we were deciding to fight Vietnam, Cuba and Civil Rights. His brother was killed because he would have been the next president.

I think most all politicians are crooked whether they like it or not it a part of the system. But how bad are your enemies .Kennedy although very charismatic and loved by many still refused to placate his enemies who just happened to be diabolically ruthless. Bush may have become the brunt of an unpopular war, aside from Islamic rage he still only sails the more tepid waters of domestic dislike and still doesn't stir the seeds of discontent any more then he has to.....

Because Kennedy was a Democrat in the 60's and that speaks for itself, and George W. Bush is a Republican for rich people so the rich stay rich and the poor get poorer.

Stupid question overall... Kennedy was in many ways like Bush.. Strong on National Defense, cut taxes, believed in service to country. (Remember "Ask not what....") If more Democrats were like him today, this would be a much better country (and I would still be a Democrat)
