Maybe.

Even if not, it is not always within the person's control to change themselves without help.

Some people are addicted to food. They use it for comfort or just because they like the taste and lack self control.

Can a binge drinker look in the mirror and say "alright"?
Can a smoker look in the mirror and say "alright"?

Addiction is a b*tch. Sometimes people know they need to change but just can't. It is a huge leap to go from "I need to stop doing XYZ" and saying "I can't stop on my own, I need help" and actually go for help.

Usually those really fat young black women. They do that. They don't care how much they weigh. I knew a black girl a couple years ago, she was about 380 pounds, she would look in the mirror in the bathroom at school and say to me "I am SEXY! No man could resist my sweetness!" And I was proud of her. It was cool how she was a teenager and was happy with her appearance. She would wear really stylish dresses, her hair was always perfect and she always wore pumps.

Wow.

Let's put aside statements that deal with "being comfortable with yourself." 400 pounds, people, is NOT "alright." It's UNHEALTHY. Plain and simple.

I can think of no one who would be considered healthy at that weight. Great for her if she feels comfortable like that - but she's a heart attack waiting to happen.

I would hope that someone close to her would tell her that while it's great to feel good about your body no matter what, she really isn't alright, and needs to lose weight for her health.

I don't have a bias against people who aren't skinny as a stick. I'm not skinny, but I'm not an unhealthy weight either. 400 pounds is not healthy. It's not even obese; it's morbidly obese. Even if she loves how she looks, she shouldn't stay that way.

Maybe she doesn't go alright, but maybe she feels trapped and feels has no option but to accept it. She doesn't see any hope, her eating is more than just gluttony, but this is all she knows, it is part of deeper problem that she just can't deal with. She doesn't have the motivation or determination to lose the weight and she knows that by society's standards, she will never be thin enough, so she thinks, what's the point and just accepts herself the way she is. HTH.

Yeah. Just because someone is fat, doesn't mean they have to hate themselves. I personally like to keep fit, and have issues if I gain any weight. But I can respect those who are alright with themselves even when they don't fit society's idea of beauty.

Ah! But you are not really covering the real problem are you - what you should be asking is:-

Is cunilingus possible with the use of forceps or is invasive surgery necessary in order to give the necessary stimulus and will someone have to wipe your brow to remove the sweat - so you don't keep sliding off her belly ?

I guess it's possible that she might think she looks alright. Very remotely possible. I guess. But there's a heck of a lot more to it than her appearance. That is extremely unhealthy. And you can call me a bad person for saying this, but nobody has a right to get that big and then still expect their insurance (or, more likely, medicaid - because nobody that big can work) to pay for any of their illnesses. Every tiny little illness turns into a huge deal with somebody that big, and it's extremely expensive to try to treat them. If somebody gets that big, they should just have to either pay cash for all medical treatments or not get treatment at all. It's not fair that we have to pay such high taxes for their care.
