16 is perfect. It has more meaning by then. A kiss is a very powerful thing. VERY.

I was 14 and a freshman in highschool when I had my first "real" kiss... Not kiddie stuff or dares etc.. My parents allowed me to go on supervised dates at that same age. I think it really depends on the maturity and desires of the person. If you feel like it's too early, then it is! Follow your heart and leave everyone else out of it. Remember you can't take back things once they are done, so make your choices carefully. Good Luck!

When I was 12 some of my friends were already kissing boys and 'making out'. I was like WUH? too. So, I didn't really date until I was 17. But I'm sooooooo glad I waited - and I wish I could have waited even longer - cuz those can be some heart breaking experiences... So, be glad you're the way you are. Just have fun with your friends, be involved with school and your hobbies or activities - and you will do fine. Boys are cute but they are just trouble when you're a young teen. They don't care about girls - just experimenting with them.

It depends what you think is WAY too early some people don't get thier first kiss till thier ready to get married and some when they're 11 -13 but does it really matter though? Yeah it depends on the individual. But if you haven't had yours yet you shouldn't think it's because your not attractive enough or whatever because my friend who is a guy is 14 has had three girlfirends and hasnt had his first kiss yet.. yeah, so it depends you know
Good luck :D

I would advocate waiting on the first kiss until the junior year of high school! But I know that probably won't happen!
I agree kids are starting WAY too early. Just don't rush- there is plenty of time later

However, i didn't have a girlfriend until i was 17 or 18 and I'm very glad i did it that way, i soon got sick of it anyway. don't worry about it too much you know? if people ask tell em' yur holdin out for someone better than greasy Paul, the guy who hangs out at the medieval fairs

I was payed out at school cause I didn't get my first kiss til 14. But I garuntee most of them had never been kissed anyway! I felt I was a perfect age. As long as your ready and nobody is forcing you it should be something to not lose sleep over. Trust me, in a few years time it won't really matter how old you were, just who it was with! Try to make it special! XX

My first kiss was at 13 and looking back, I know that was WAY too young. Better kisses were had by age 16 so I will go with that answer.

Dear, there is no SET age to begin any of the things you mentioned. School age children spend time talking all about this drivel. Everyone starts at a different time, although before 16 is, I think, WAY TOO YOUNG for any of this.
