My computer isn't working. My brother is suposed to fix it, but I don't know when and I want it fix now. Ok here is the problem.....When it starts up it goes to this black page that says windows didn't start successfully and other stuff. It gives options to pick...like safe mode, start windows normally, and 3 other ones. But no natter which one I pick it just restarts again. Does anyone know how I can fix it? Or even what the problem is?

Make sure you don't have a CD in the HD, check your floppy area. Sounds like something is stopping your HD from booting.

If you can find the Operating System CD open up the hard drive turn off your computer. Put the disc in the tray and close it. Start up your computer and go with the repair option it my take a while and do it off line. Just read the instruction's well.

as i am a aofthardware wiz kid in 2004 this q was asked to me. choose the safe mode option . if not remove ur cd drive and floppy drive and restart again and choose safe made

ok when it does that select SAFE MODE. scan for any virus and or spy ware. then reboot.
