My son has a Playstation 2, and somehow the code to be able to watch DVD's on it has gotten mixed up. My small nephew went in and changed the code on us!...lol
Is there any way to reset it to be able to watch DVD's on it again?
Thanks.

Funnily enough, I -just- answered this question for someone else, so here you are. :P

To reset the password on a PS2, first get to the screen where you have to enter your password. Don't enter anything - instead, just hit the "select" button on your controller. That should change the screen from "enter password" to "delete password." Enter the numbers 7444, and that will successfully delete your current password.

After that, all you have to do is set another password of your choice. I prefer something easy, like 1234 or 0000. Easy to remember, hard to forget.

I hope this helped a little bit, and good luck!

Check the instruction booklet that came with the game machine it may have an over-ride code that will cancel the new code so that you can reprogram it .If not do as suggested above and call Sony.

You should e-mail Sony about that, but for now try out the passwords: 0000 1111 2222 3333 4444 5555 6666 7777 8888 9999 0123 1234 2345 3456 4567 5678 6789 7890 8901 9012.... if that helps any a young child would make those accidentally, I would know... -_-..
