Well, since the red stuff isn't licorice, then the answer HAS to be Black. The red stuff is just sugar and 'red' flavoring and color.

technically licorice is only black and the red flavor is called red vines "my boss always ******* corrects me about that" anyway I like to mix them, but if I had to choose between the red and the black I would pick black for sure!
