people buy products that is according to their needs and wants. i dont know what you are selling but try to think which category does your product falls into, needs? wants? from here, you can plan out of how to market them. another important point, is to use emotional too. statistics has shown that women use more of their emotions and men use logics when comes to shopping. so ya, some food for thought..

Really there's only 1 way... Convince them that they may not want it, but they're definately going to need it. How it will make there lives better. It kind of depends what the product is, Good luck
