Please, dont pay attention to the question. Its just an attention grabber. Sorry.

I'm in high school and there is this girl that I like. I think she likes me too cos she is always trying to be around me and she is always smiling at me. She is shy and I am shy too.
I'm planning to give her a note next week. It will say: "I really like you and I think you are very beautiful so I was wondering if you wanna be my girl friend. If you are not interested, please feel free to say No"

What do you think?
Is it too bold?

PS: I'm new to this dating thing. Thank You

lol, don't give her the note. Thats what elementary school is like, asking each other out in notes. Be mature and brave enough to face her. Say the same thing that you were going to say in the note except for say it face to face.

notes are for grade school kids. don't go that route, be strong and talk to her yourself. instead of asking her if she wants to be your girlfriend, ask her if you and her can get to know eachother better as friends and see what progresses from there. that way there' s no pressure on either one and it makes things a little less intimidating. go to a movie or dinner/lunch or whatever and take it from there. small steps are always good.

Please don't pay any attention to this answer, because I have absolutely no idea, not a clue, who I am. I have never known and probably never will know. And the mystery goes even deeper than that, it is so deep I do not even know how deep it is.

you kids are annoying. You don't just ask some random girl to be your girlfriend. Take her on a date. Geez, if you're really in high school use common sense.

lol. I don't think it's too bold. The face-to-face approach would be the best (and more bold) approach. Good luck!

Start off by changing "girl friend" to "friend." Give her a chance to know you before she turns you down.

DONT RUSH THINGS! TRY TO JUST TALK TO HER AS FRIENDS FIRST. ONCE YOU START TALKING YOU WILL FEEL MORE COMFORTABLE AROUND EACH OTHER AND THEN MAYBE IT WILL GO SOMEWHERE FURTHER.
